In most cases, you do not need to know your electronic invoicing address.
With ABCinvoice.eu, you do not need to know the electronic invoicing addresses of your customers or suppliers. The application automatically identifies them using the information available (such as VAT number, company registration number, etc.).
As long as a contact is updated without any error message, electronic routing is handled automatically and no further action is required.
However, some suppliers who are not yet equipped for electronic invoicing may ask you to provide your electronic invoicing address.
You can find it in the Settings section of your ABCinvoice.eu application.
It is displayed in the following format: xxxx:xxxxxxxxx
The first four digits indicate the identification scheme used (see the illustrations). The remaining part corresponds to your company’s identifier, which may take different forms depending on the country and identification method, such as a VAT number, SIREN, SIRET, KBO/KBE number, or any other recognized business identifier.
You can also find this address in the Peppol Directory: https://directory.peppol.eu/public/
It is possible for the same company to have several electronic addresses. This is perfectly normal: they simply correspond to the different identifiers under which your company can be recognized on the Peppol network.
In France, a dedicated directory is also available: https://facturation.chorus-pro.gouv.fr/annuaire/
At present, after completing a CAPTCHA verification, this directory only allows you to check whether a company has an electronic invoicing address; it does not display the address itself. This directory is expected to evolve over time.
In any case, with ABCinvoice.eu, you do not need to search for or enter this information manually. Customer and supplier identification, as well as the routing of electronic invoices, are handled automatically.
