The French electronic invoicing directory is currently based on the company’s SIREN number.
Reminder: The SIREN number is a unique 9-digit identifier assigned to each company by the French National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) when it is created. It officially identifies the company throughout its lifetime. Each individual establishment belonging to the company is identified separately by a SIRET number.
You can find the SIREN number by:
- taking the last 9 digits of the French VAT identification number (VAT ID); or
- taking the first 9 digits of the SIRET number.
Therefore, when creating a new contact (customer or supplier) in ABCinvoice.eu, enter the SIREN number in the identification field.
